MFA is a very important part of online security. Verifying your identity using a second factor such as your Mobile Phone minimises the chance of anyone but you from accessing your account, even if they know your password.
Before you remove an account from your Microsoft Authenticator App, make sure you have a different multifactor authentication method set up.
- Open the authenticator app
- Tap on the account you would like to delete
- Click on the cog on the top right corner
- Click “Remove account”
