Office 365 apps on mobile devices

Introduction

As part of your Office 365 subscription, some licenses will allow you to install the mobile version of the office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams etc.

Outlook & Teams are the main apps of the suite that businesses find helpful for everyday use. The mobile versions of these apps will allow you to access the same content you would see on your desktop/laptop though in a mobile interface so these are extremely useful if you’re away from your desk and need to quickly check when your next meeting is, send an email, or respond to a teams message from a coworker.

These apps are downloaded through the iPhone and Android app stores – App Store & Play Store. You may need to have an account signed into the store prior to downloading apps.

Below is a useful video by Microsoft which will take you through step by step on how to install Outlook on either your Android or iPhone device – including how to setup your email.

Installing Teams on mobile devices

Similar to the app installation in the previous video for Outlook. Microsoft Teams can be downloaded by searching for ‘Teams‘ in the App Store (iPhone), and Play Store (Android) and then clicking the install button (highlighted by red boxes in images below).
