When to use
Multiple desktops are a great way to manage your open apps. Multiple desktops help you to manage your Windows device better and prevent scenarios where you have dozens of open windows.
There are many suitable times to use multiple desktops. For instance, to split your work and personal apps, or to manage multiple projects/workloads.
How to enable multiple desktops
- On the task-bar, select the Task View button . Your open and historical activities will appear.
- At the top left of the screen, click ‘+ New desktop‘. An additional, empty desktop will appear.
- To go back and forth between desktops, select Task view again or click Ctrl + Windows + Left or Right, on your keyboard.
